Humidity issues:

The yeast from last week was not contaminated; however, the paper dried-out. 

-One possible reason might be due to the fact that the paper assay was left in the incubator for 5 days. 

-another possible reason is that there may have not been enough holes in the para-film Petri-dish humidity chamber.

In today's class we will: 

1) repeat the paper-based assay with the same shape sizes. we will plate 15 micro-liter of yeast in the shapes.

2) we will make PDMS and put it on the mini molds to find the optimal way of removing PDMS from the mold.
